It’s not what you say, but how you say it. How often have you heard that phrase? It might be over-familiar, but it’s well-used because it’s true. The way we speak is arguably more important than what we say, and research suggests that 9 out of 10 conversations actually fail.
In this interactive keynote we lean heavily on emerging neuroscientific research on the impact of words on our brains and bodies. Participants will identify the three levels of conversation they’re likely to encounter regularly in the workplace, whether that workplace is in an office or virtual.
Participants learn how to use all 3 levels to elevate the quality of everyday conversations. This science-based methodology shifts conversations that trigger defensiveness and fear to conversations that build healthy, productive and extraordinary results.
Conversational Intelligence® offers practical strategies to navigate successful conversations. Participants can apply the skills in their work, leadership and with colleagues, as well as everyday interactions with others. Specifically, learn skills to help elevate conversation in times when social distancing and remote communication is the current new standard.
Participants learn how to:
• Have conversations that support connecting with others, in person and virtually
• Build trust and strengthen relationships (in person and virtually)
• Foster greater teamwork and collaboration
• Improve conversational agility and creativity
• Make difficult conversations easier with better outcomes
