Success Stories

Career Transition:

Sterling: Former Western Regional President at a Fortune 500 company was laid off as a result of an organization change.  We scheduled 9 Coaching meetings to clearly outline goals, decide on strategies to achieve those goals and coached through feelings of doubt, poor

self-confidence and self worth that were inhibiting progress.  After the 9th session he was appointed President and CEO of a medical device company that met his goal criteria perfectly.

Victory! Now the work begins….thank you for all of your guidance. -Sterling

Career Promotion

Mike began coaching with me 3 years ago.  At the time, his goal was to move from a Product Manager at Fortune 500 company to a VP position.  We set goals and objectives identified challenges, limiting beliefs, and areas for development in Emotional Intelligence and within 1 year he achieved a VP title and a handsome financial promotion too.  We continue to work together once a month on Leadership skills, Time Management and Stress management

Good news on my front. The plan we discussed went as outlined. -Mike

Leadership Development

I was referred to Cheryl who is Director of the department of Psychiatry at a large Colorado Hospital. Cheryl wanted to develop better management and communication skills.  Her areas of weakness were causing her to work late hours and to commit to speaking and writing engagements that she really did not want to do.  Within 9 months we identified some serious Saboteurs and developed a Time Management strategy to set boundaries, prioritize tasks and work on saying NO to projects that did not serve her goals.  She is now on a monthly maintenance plan with me and is less stressed and enjoying a work/life balance.

At the moment I am feeling in disbelief I am so excited I can hardly think! Cheryl

Time Management and Productivity Development

I was asked to present a workshop on time management to a major Denver law firm where I have been coaching their lawyers on Business Development. The attorney’s wanted to increase their productivity, decrease their stress and improve their work/life balance.  I offered a workshop that met their needs and expectations.

“Of the many techniques learned through coaching,

the time management tools and discussion with Stephanie have had the most tangible and immediate positive impact on my day-to-day legal practice.”  -W. Jones

Assertiveness Challenge

The HR department of an international mining PE fund retained me to work with Craig, a very bright Engineer struggling with time management, presentation, and assertiveness in meetings.  In fact this was his last chance to turn things around and make change.  I conducted a 360 interview, and worked with his managers and the Director of HR to fully understand what they liked, and what they wanted to see change in him. We discussed how they could assist in managing him differently and then got to work with Craig to establish goals, understand his values and limiting beliefs and then developed strategies and opportunities for him to develop his skills.  I worked with Craig for almost one year, and he received high praise in his last review and according to the HR Director and his manager was recently promoted.

Things are really going smoothly as all of those behavioral and mindset changes we were working on are now becoming more automatic (just as you said they eventually would).  Again, thank you for all the support and guidance! -Craig

Presentation Skills:

A Denver-based private equity fund asked me to assist a junior analyst prepare for a phone presentation for the Board of Directors.  With only 3 days to work with him prior to the presentation we rehearsed, taped, filmed and shared jokes to practice public speaking by phone.  The presentation was a huge success and the HR director and managing partners all complimented him for how well and clearly he spoke during his presentation.  We continue to work together on presentation skills as he is asked to speak more.

Great job with Andres, he did a terrific job presenting Michael, HR Director
